Fix Your Eyes

Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfecter of faith. Fo the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

I don't know about you but I have the tendency to worry. I try very hard not to, but at times, I do. I worry about what happens when the job shuts down. What's going to happen if the price of gas keeps going up? How will I be able to afford to buy groceries at the rate prices are increasing? What's going to happen to our children the way the world is going now? Will my family and friends go to heaven with me? Will people just join in with the worldly views or will they begin to stand up for what God's Word says is TRUE?

ONE thing I do know, is that we have to keep our eyes fixed firmly on CHRIST! Make time to be connected to GOD because HE is our peace during any storm! Let go of your control and TRUST in GOD'S ways daily!

The secret is in how connected we are to the ultimate source of peace-GOD. Make peace a priority. Make GOD your NUMBER ONE priority!

Lord, forgive me for ever doubting that You always do what is best for me. You have never let me down. You have always provided for me, comforted me, strengthened me. healed me, and you always give me peace. You saved me! Now, Lord, please save them!

But seek first His kingdom and His Righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:33-34
