Redeemed

You, Lord, took up my case; you redeemed my life.

Lamentations 3:58

Before I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior I knew right from wrong. I was just inclined to do wrong. It was my natural choice, it was my sin nature that was moving me. Now that I am born-again, I am a new creation in Christ! His very Spirit lives in me! He calls me to be Holy because He is Holy. This is not a call that I am unable to live up to. His Spirit, His Grace, enables me to be and do all that He has called me to be and do. There is POWER in the Blood of Jesus! That power not only saved me but changed me and enables me! I still know right from wrong but I am now inclined to do right. It is my natural choice, it is my NEW nature of Christ moving me.

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
